Dear Devotees,
We, the people of Thekkethara Desom, Melarcode, are aware of the
fact that 12 years have elapsed since the Prathishta of our Divine
Deity THAZHEKKOTTU BHAGABATHI (Nair Veedu). We have to conduct
KUMBHABHISHEKAM to enrich the divine powers of our ''GODDESS''
soon after the 12th year of the Prathishta. It is a fact that we the
residence of Thekkethara Desam are happy and prosperous since
the date of the Prathishta Utsavam of the divine deity of
THAZHEKKOTTU BHAGABATHI. Hence it is obivious that the people
of this desom are very much inclined to celebrate the
KUMBHABHISHEKAM in every befitting manner also we pray the
Goddess to shower her blessings for a prosperous life to one and all
who are part-taking in the ensuing function.
A Thamboola Prasnam was held on 3.9.2008 led by the famous
Astrologer Sri Palathully Kuttikrishna Panicker and assisted by two
others and found that KUMBHABHISHEKAM has to be conducted very
soon for the welfare and peaceful life of the people of our Desom.
Accordingly it is decided to conduct Kumbhabhishekam under the
auspices of Kshetra Thanthri during the period from 21.3.2009 to
27.3.2009 for which a Committee has been fromed. The preliminary
works have been started. The expenditure is expected to be more
than Rs.7 lakhs. The Committee have decided to collect maximum
amount from each house.
Your valuable co-operation and financial assistance are expected in
the name of our ''GODDESS'' for the success of this noble and divine
purpose.
